The state Natural Resource Police have decided not to remove an old truck that was uncovered recently in the Patapsco River off of River Road.
Catonsville resident Gina Jones and her family were walking along the river Sunday night around 8 p.m. when they scrambled down to the riverbank on some rocks. Jones said they saw a tire and after moving some rocks found a whole truck upside down.
Jones said they called police. After Baltimore County Police responded, they in turn called the DNR police.
Sgt. Brian Albert said that after police discovered it was an old vehicle, they decided it was going to be left in the river.
"At this point it's not a crime scene," he said.
