Man Who Attacked, Strangled Jogger Wanted By Baltimore County Police

The 25-year-old woman escaped with minor injuries by biting her attacker.

Baltimore County Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man suspected of assaulting and attempting to kidnap a 25-year-old woman.

The woman was jogging in the area of Sienna Way in Woodstock around 5:30 p.m. July 30 when the man pulled her into some nearby woods. The man attempted to strangle the woman with an article of clothing but ran off after the woman fought back and bit her attacker on the arm, according to a statement released by the Baltimore County Police Department.

The victim was treated for non life-threatening injuries.

The suspect is described black male, 16 to 20 years old, 5’6” tall, with an average build. He was wearing all dark clothing and may have a bite mark on his right arm, according to police. 

Police are asking that anyone with information on the identity of the man call detectives at 410-307-2020.
