Inert Grenade Causes Evacuation

Baltimore County police said the device presented no danger.

Residents at an apartment complex in Catonsville were briefly evacuated after county police responded to a call about a suspicious device Sunday afternoon.

Officers responded to the scene in the 100 block of Montrose Manor Court around 1 p.m. and discovered an inert grenade, police said. It was determined not to be dangerous.

The device is now being held at the Catonsville police precinct, police said.
