Fire Goes Through the Roof at Catonsville Home

The fire was under control less than an hour after firefighters were dispatched.

No one was hurt in a fire that spread through the second floor and attic of a Catonsville home shortly before noon Wednesday, according to the Baltimore County Fire Department.

Squads from multiple fire stations in the area were dispatched to the 2-story dwelling at 1928 Oak Lodge Road at 11:45 a.m., spokeswoman Louise Rogers-Feher said. The fire was under control by 12:28 p.m., she said.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined, but it doesn't appear that anyone was in the house at the time, she said.
