Crime Roundup: Two Small Businesses Robbed at Gunpoint

The following information is provided by the Baltimore County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

The following are summaries of incidents from police reports from Precinct One/Wilkens of the Baltimore County Police Department.

First-degree burglary: On Jan. 31 between 7 a.m. and 4:20 p.m., someone broke into a home located on the unit block of Roberts Avenue. According to the police report, the suspect stole a 41-inch television, a video game system and a Magnavox television.

Fourth-degree burglary: On Feb. 1 between 9:48 a.m. and 9:52 a.m., a neighbor caught three teens trying to kick in the front door of a home on the 6400 block of Frederick Road. According to the police report, the suspects were scared away by the neighbor. Police arrived and made arrests.

Armed robbery: On Feb. 1 at 7:14 p.m., a man entered , located at 6500 Frederick Road and walked down the middle aisle. He approached the cash register, pointed a silver semi-automatic handgun at the clerk and demanded that he open the register. The clerk turned over an unknown amount of cash.

Fourth-degree burglary: On Feb. 4 at 1:39 a.m., an off-duty city police detective saw several suspects checking the door handle to a car on the unit block of Dunmore Road. A few minutes later, he saw the same car on the 6000 block of Edmondson Avenue. The detective called Baltimore County Police, who located the suspects hiding nearby. Police charged 21-year-old Christopher Kiel Braman, of the 1300 block of Hickory Spring Road and 22-year-old Demeatrice Lavar Dennis, of the 200 block of Stonewall Road, with fouth-degree burglary.

Armed robbery: On Feb. 4 at 3:51 p.m., a man walked into , located at 6305 Frederick Road, and pointed a handgun at the pharmacist. According to the police report, the suspect demanded the pharmacist fill the bag with all of phramacy's Percocet pills. The suspect then ran out of the store. Police described the suspect as a male, between 20 and 30 years old, with a black cap and a black ski mask. He wore a red hooded sweatshirt with purple Ravens gloves and tan cargo pants.
