Crime Roundup: Two Robberies and a Stabbing

The following arrest information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction

A woman walking home from a Memorial Day party in the early hours of
Sunday morning was robbed and beaten by an acquaintance on Winters
Lane.

Shortly after midnight, the victim was walking south on Winters Lane
near Main Avenue when she was approached by a woman she knew. The
acquaintance pulled the victim’s hair and pushed her to the ground.

Once on the ground, the victim was kicked and her purse was taken,
containing a wallet with $200 and her cell phone. A friend of the
victim came to her assistance and was pushed away by the suspect.

The altercation continued, with the suspect shoving her fingers into
the victim’s nose, causing her to bleed heavily.

The victim went to Sinai Hospital for treatment.

Later in the day, the victim went to the Precinct 1/Wilkens station
upon the urging of her mother and because the suspect posted to
Facebook bragging about the incident.

Check-Cashing Shop Robbed at Gunpoint


A check-cashing business on the 5600 block of Baltimore National Pike
was robbed of an undetermined amount of cash on Friday, May 27, by
three men who caught a cashier off-guard after her smoke break.

Around 4:50 p.m., the cashier was about to enter the secured cashier
area of the shop when she was approached by three men. One of the
suspects had a shotgun, while another suspect had a small handgun.

The cashier was struck on the head by an object and ordered to unlock
the cashier area. She complied and was pushed to the ground.  Once
inside the secured area, the unarmed suspect filled a bag with cash.
All three suspects fled through the rear door of the business.

Man Stabbed in Fight at Loafer’s


A 36-year-old man was stabbed trying to a friend engaged in an
altercation outside Loafer’s Bar & Grill on the 6500 block of
Baltimore National Pike early Sunday morning.

The victim was in the parking lot in front of Loafer’s around closing
time and noted a crowd had gathered around his friend. He went to help
his friend and was confronted by an unknown man who swung at him. The
victim ducked, but not far enough, and was struck in the upper
forehead with a knife.

The victim went to Northwest Hospital Center for treatment. When
interviewed by the police, the victim reported that he was unable to
recall many details because he was intoxicated.
