Crime Roundup: Several Robberies of Businesses and Residences Reported

The following arrest information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Between July 30 and August 5, someone broke into a house on the 700 block of Academy Road in Catonsville. According to the police report, the victim had a friend check on his apartment while he was gone. On August 5, his friend checked on the place and saw that a television was missing. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence.

On Monday, August 8 at 10 p.m., three or four suspects walked into the AT&T store, located at 6038 Baltimore National Pike in Catonsville. According to the police report, one of the suspects approached a store employee when he was taking trash out of the back. The suspects, who wore black ski masks and black clothing, forced their way into the back of the store and stole money from the safe as well as several cell phones.

On Tuesday, August 9, someone entered a home on the 500 block of Edmondson Avenue in Catonsville and stole a tan wallet. According to the police report, the suspect came in through an unlocked back door.

On Wednesday, August 10 at 2:48 a.m., a man was walking on Frederick Road and Shady Nook Avenue in Catonsville when a man walked up to him demanding money. According to the police report, the suspect approached the victim and displayed a handgun demanding money. When the victim told the suspect he didn't have any money, the suspect told him to walk away or he would shoot him.

On Wednesday, August 10 between midnight and 10:30 a.m., someone broke into a business located at 5305 Baltimore National Pike in Catonsville. According to the police report, someone shattered the front window and stole eight nail drills and one digital camera.

On Friday, August 12 between 5:50 a.m. and 5:53 a.m., someone broke into the Movie Sales, located at 1099 North Rolling Road in Catonsville. According to the police report, the suspect pried the lock off the door to get into the business and stole cash from the business. The suspect ran away by the time police arrived.
