Crime Roundup: One Arson and Two Burglaries

The following information was provided by the Baltimore County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

The following are summaries of incidents reported to police occurring in Precinct One/Wilkens of the Baltimore County Police Department.

First-degree arson: On Wednesday, Oct. 19 at 9 p.m., someone lit a vacant home on fire on the 5400 block of Old Frederick Road. Police have not been able to determine the owner of the home.

Second-degree burglary: Sometime between Friday, Oct. 21 at 11:30 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 22 from 7:20 a.m. someone broke into , located on the 400 block of Frederick Road. According to the police report, someone walking by noticed the front door was shattered. When the owner arrived, he reported that the only thing missing was money from the register.

First-degree burglary: Sometime on Saturday, Oct. 22 at 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. someone broke into a home located on the unit block of Overbrook Road in Catonsville. According to the police report, police did not find any type of forced entry was used to get into the home. The suspects stole a 52-inch television, cash and three sets of earrings.
