Crime Roundup: Armed Robbery at Dollar General on Baltimore National Pike

The following arrest information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

On Saturday at 8:34 a.m., a man walked into the Dollar General, located at 5450 Baltimore National Pike in Catonsville. According to the police report, the victim told police that the man walked behind her at the cash register and told her not say anything and open the drawer. He then told her to get out of his way, and she ran to the back of the store. The man left the store with an undisclosed amount of cash and a Sprint cell phone. When police looked at the surveillance video later they saw a black semi-automatic handgun in his hand.

Between Sept. 2 and Monday, Sept. 5, someone broke into a home located on the 100 block of Winters Lane in Catonsville. According to the police report, the suspect broke into the home through the kitchen window and took a lawn mower from the house.
