The following are summaries of incidents that occurred in Precinct One/Wilkens of the Baltimore County Police Department.
Second-degree burglary: Between 3 p.m. on August 4 and 1 p.m. on August 12. Two bikes were taken from an unlocked shed on the unit block of Melvin Avenue.
Second-degree burglary: Between 10:30 p.m. on August 4 and 9:30 a.m. on August 6. Suspect stole money from the cash register from , located at 1610 Frederick Road.
Second-degree burglary: At 1:10 a.m. on August 6. Suspect broke the front window out of a Family Affair Produce, located at 2301 Frederick Road. Money from the cash register was taken.
First-degree burglary: At 10:58 p.m. on August 10. Suspect broke a basement window to get into a home on the 400 block of Maple Forest Drive. Four laptops and two video game systems were taken.
First-degree burglary: Between August 5 and 4:35 p.m. on August 12. Suspect broke a window to the back door and ransacked a home on the unit block of Roberts Avenue. The homeowner was away on military deployment.
Don't know what home owners are supposed to do; seems locking doors isn't enough.
