Catonsville Crime: Sex Offense, Burglaries Reported

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department's Wilkens Precinct. Charges do not indicate convictions.

A girl reported that, when she was 13, she became pregnant by her ex-boyfriend who was 19 years old.

On May 15, the girl, who is 35 weeks pregnant, was in St. Agnes Hospital and reported the incident to hospital staff, according to a report by Baltimore County police.

The hospital notified police, it states.

"Victim was 13 years old when the incident occurred and advised the sex was consensual," the report states. The second-degree rape allegedly happened from Sept. 25 to Oct. 9 in the 300 block of Suter Road in Catonsville.

The ex-boyfriend has not yet been charged, it states.

Catonsville

Old Frederick Road. 5600 block. At 4 a.m. May 17. A burglar climbed a fence into Varsity Auto Repair's towing yard and stole a radio and "TV monitors" from several unlocked vehicles.

Baltimore National Pike. Parking lot at No. 6205. At 10:25 p.m. May 17. A woman said a friend of hers gave her a ride to WalMart. When they got to the store, he tried to remove her pants. She screamed and jumped out of the car, and he drove away. Charges are pending, the report states.

Edmondson Ridge Road. Unit block. Between 7:30 a.m. and 7:06 p.m. May 14. A burglar came in thorugh a window at the back of the house and stole a TV, two laptop computers, a Samsung Tablet and a speaker.

Beechfield Avenue. 1000 block. Between 11:45 a.m. and noon May 13. Three burglars, described as males of unknown age, came into a home and stole gold coins and a fire safe. They left in what could have been an older-model Ford Escort or Taurus.
