Catonsville Crime: Police Investigating Two Sex Offenses

Baltimore County Police Department detectives are investigating two alleged sex offenses in Catonsville last week.

On Jan. 19 at 10:30 p.m., a woman was getting gas at the Gulf gas station at the intersection of Delrey Avenue and Frederick Road when a station attendant approached her and started talking to her, according to a police report.

The attendant grabbed her buttocks and kissed her, the woman told police. Lieutenant Nancy Storke, deputy commander of Precinct One/Wilkens, said that police are investigating but an arrest has not been made.

On Jan. 18 between 5:50 p.m. and 6:20 p.m, a female was walking on North Bend Road toward Mount De Sales Road when a car approached, according to a police report.

The victim told police that a man in the back of the car told her to come toward the car and when she got close, he grabbed her and pulled her into the vehicle. The car drove off and one of the suspects sexually assaulted her in the back the car, the victim told police. The victim was then dropped off at the same location around 6:20 p.m.

Storke said that police are investigating the incident. The victim described the car as a dark blue, dark green or black, four-door sedan.
