Catonsville Crime: Burglaries Reported in Area

The following information is provided by the Baltimore County Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

The following are summaries of incidents that occurred in Precinct One/Wilkens of the Baltimore County Police Department.

Second-degree burglary: Between 2:11 a.m. and 2 p.m. on August 3. Suspect pried open the emergency exit door of a business located on the 6000 block of Baltimore National Pike. A power saw and two hammer drills were stolen.

Attempted burglary: Between 8:30 p.m. on August 2 and 7:45 a.m. on August 3. Someone tried to break into at 425 Oella Avenue by breaking a window on the front door.

Fourth-degree burglary: At 10:55 p.m. on August 3, a man triggered an alarm when he walked in through an open door at the . A Glen Burnie man was arrested on the scene after an alarm was triggered.

Third-degree burglary: At 3:30 a.m. on August 2, a man entered his neighbor's apartment on the 400 block of Oella Avenue through an adjoining door. The man touched the victim's feet while she slept. When she screamed, he went back into his apartment. The man was charged with third-degree burglary.
