Catonsville Crime: Burglar Lifts Glass Door, Ransacks Home

A burglar ransacked a residence after "lifting out" the sliding glass door.

The burglary reportedly occurred between 6 p.m. Aug 2 and 5 p.m. Thursday in the 700 block of Hunter Way in Catonsville, according to a report by the Baltimore County Police Department's Wilkens Precinct.

The victim is checking into whether items were stolen, the report states.

Dorchester Road. 700 block. Between 4:50 p.m. and 5:10 pm. Saturday. A burglar stole a lawn mower and lawn trimmer from an unlocked shed. Also, a neighbor's lawn mower was "abandoned" in the yard.

Woodsdale Road. 800 block. 4:50 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. A resident said she drove near her home and saw two men, who she doesn't know, pushing her red lawnmower. She checked when she got home, and her mower was missing from her backyard. The suspects are described as black males, ages 16-20. One is about 6 feet tall, weighs 160 pounds and wore a white shirt, and bluejean shorts. The other is 5-foot-10 and weighs 150 pounds. He wore a white tank top and light-colored shorts.
