Catonsville Crime: ATM Robbery and Stabbing

The following information is provided by the Baltimore County Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

The following are summaries of incidents that occurred in Precinct One/Wilkens of the Baltimore County Police Department.

Armed robbery with a gun: At 9:30 p.m. on July 22. Two victims were in the drive through ATM at Wells Fargo, located at 582 Frederick Road. According to the police report, a man pulled up behind them in a Green Nissan Altima. The suspect got out of the car, walked up to the car and pointed a black handgun at the driver.

The suspect demanded that the two victims in the car took the keys out of the ignition and hand over the money just withdrawn from the ATM. The suspect then demanded the victim's ATM card and pin number. He told the victims to drive away and then made a transaction at the ATM. Police described the suspect as a man between 23 and 35 years old, between 5 feet 10 inches tall and 6 feet tall with a medium build. He wore a black ski mask, a black hooded sweatshirt and jeans.

First-degree assault: At 3:28 p.m. on July 17. Two men were arguing over a parking space when one stabbed the other with a pocket knife on the 6000 block of Old Frederick Road. The two suspects were known acquaintances, according to police.
