Burglar Hides in Business Set To Close, Steals Liquor, Memorabilia
Champs Bar & Grill in Catonsville was burgled July 23.
A burglar hid in Champs Bar & Grill after closing and stole vodka and framed photo.
Between 12:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Tuesday, someone stole a dozen framed photographs of athletes; cash, and four bottles of top-shelf vodka, according to a report by the Baltimore County Police Department's Wilkens Precinct in Catonsville.
The suspect ran out a rear door, "which was discovered open," the report states.
Champs is set to close for good July 28, and an auction will be held July 30 at the business, 6600 Baltimore National Pike, Catonsville.
It's a sports bar with 14 large TVs and pool tables in the back. It serves pub-style food and is known for its ribs and wings.
