'Blond Bandit' Pleads Not Guilty To Crime Spree
Catonsville carjacking among several crimes linked to Stephanie Lyn Schwab
Stephanie Lyn Schwab, dubbed the "Blond Bandit" for her alleged involvement in a string of carjacking and robberies last November, pleaded not guilty Friday to charges related to those crimes.
Schwab, 26, faces six charges, the Washington Post reported today: attempted bank robbery, two counts of bank robbery and three counts of taking stolen vehicles over state lines.
Schwab was arraigned in federal court in Alexandria. Her jury trial is scheduled for May 22.

The young mother, who was once a member of the gang MS-13, allegedly stole a car in Manassas and robbed a bank in Prince William County before coming to Tysons Corner Nov. 19, who offered to give her a ride.

After that robbery, Schwab fled on 495 through Montgomery County. She was apprehended by police after in Bethesda, Md.
