Audio: Police Release 911 Tapes for Field Hockey Emergency on Sept. 27

A Perry Hall field hockey player collapsed after leaving the field at Catonsville High School and went into cardiac arrest.

Baltimore County emergency officials released the 911 tapes from residents who called emergency responders to report the injury to Perry Hall field hockey player at Catonsville High School on Sept. 27.

Breanna Sudano has , but after leaving the field. While emergency responders reported within four minutes, the ambulance went to the parking lot that is further away from the stadium lot.

Police released three 911 calls that were made that day. In the calls, Coach Lindsey Springer, Athletic Director David Lane and several students describe the situation and where to send the ambulance.

After the incident, those involved who responded and administered CPR, but some parents questioned where the ambulance was dispatched to. The ambulance first responded to a parking lot more distant from the stadium.

In the 911 calls released, several callers describe the player as being 'on the turf field" and "at the entrance off of Valley Road."
