Armed Robberies with Guns Reported in Catonsville

Three armed robberies with a gun were reported recently in Catonsville, according to reports by the Baltimore County Police Department's Wilkens Precinct.

Edmondson Avenue and Aldershot Road. 10:30 p.m. July 25. A resident was walking home when a group of four boys came up to him. One asked if he could use the resident's cell phone, then three other boys ran up to him, one of them threatened him with a chrome handgun and told the resident to give him his cell phone. After the victim gave it to him, the suspect with the gun hit him on the back of the head with the gun. 

Baltimore National Pike. 5100 block. Between 1 a.m. and 1:05 a.m. July 25. Three men between the ages of 20 and 25 years old came up to a woman, pointed a handgun at her and demanded her property. The gun was described as black and square-shaped, the report states. Stolen were her cell phone, credit cards and cash.

Old Frederick Road and Harlem Lane. 10:40 p.m. July 24. A resident was walking home from work to Rambling Way, when a group of teens, possibly ages 16-17, came up to him, pulled a black, semi-automatic handgun and took his phone and wallet, including cash, his driver's license and credit card.
