2 Men Charged in Catonsville Lacrosse Player's Beating

The incident took place in New York.

After a 21-year-old lacrosse player from Catonsville was hospitalized with severe facial injuries last month, two New York men have been charged with assault, Watertown Daily Times reported. 

Donald Whelley, a Clarkson University sophomore and defenseman for the university’s lacrosse team, was found unconscious on the ground early in the morning on Aug. 24 in Potsdam, N.Y., according to the report.
