Community Corner

America - wake up - you can't have it both ways!

Do we want the late night bar disturbance in our communities or not?
I remember Meg Ryan was arrested by the police because he asked her to not interfere/speak, etc while they were arresting her husband.
How hard is it to just shut up!  Constitutional rights, civil rights some times go too far right and everyday it is seemingly harder to get back to the middle (a balance) because of everybody's rights.
The police had a situation that they were trying to bring under control and the person with the video camera (in my opinion - and these days everybody has one) was only making the matter worse.
Whoever called the police should be speaking out on behalf of the police as well.  Baltimore County Police work hard to keep the county safe!  Where are the law abiding citizens who know when to say when?  We would be speaking up for the county police.

Lastly the situation with Ray Rice is way out of hand!  Do we really know what happened? NO!  The video tape that has been produced so far only shows him picking his fiancé up and place her on the floor once he gets her outside of the elevator.  Does the video show him punching her, kicking her or physically abusing her?  No.
If she ALLEGEDLY spit on him - I am not sure how I (as a woman) would have reacted.  Women do not have the right to be abusive to a man and expect him to have the patience of God and not react.  Even Jesus got angry and turned over tables.  We after all are only human.

In Ray's defense we need to wait and see what really happened.  After all they were both arrested and in my eyes she must have done something that was egregious enough to warrant the arrest.
If it makes him the bad guy to keep him off of him than so be it.
