Duracell's Throwing A Party to Thank Volunteer Firefighters and All of Baltimore Is Invited!

To thank and honor Baltimore’s volunteer fire fighters, Duracell is throwing a community day party at the Arbutus Volunteer Fire Department (VFD) on May 7 from 1PM-4PM. The event is free and open to the public, and will include a personal appearance and autograph signing by Baltimore Raven Chris Carr, live music, free food, a tour of the firehouse and fire fighting equipment, games, prizes, face painting, a moon bounce, fire safety and vehicle extraction demonstrations, the Baltimore Ravens cheerleaders, and the 98 Rock squad. In recognition of the efforts of the Arbutus VFD for the Baltimore community, we will also be presenting their members with a donation during the event. 

 We are encouraging the community to support local volunteer firefighters. In addition to joining us at the Power Those Who Protect Us Thank You event, consumers can purchase specially marked packs of Duracell batteries, then log on to facebook.com/Duracell or duracell.com/protect and localize their donations for their neighborhood volunteer fire department.
