7:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
* Goodwill Industries will bring a truck to collect reusable
household items (clothing, toys, office equipment, furniture, etc.)
They will provide receipt on site for use by donor for tax
deductions as appropriate.
* With the growing menace of Identity Theft, the Board of Directors
proposed including Paper Shredding to the event this year as
an additional benefit to residents. Vangel Paper will conduct the
shredding on site from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. The cost is paid
for through sponsorship by our Councilman, Tom Quirk.
Acceptable Items besides Trash and Household Items:
* Brush/Yard Waste
* Asphalt/Black Top
* Containers (glass, plastic, tin cans, aluminum)
* Concrete, rock
* Paper/Cardboard
Prohibited Items include:
Explosives, flammable materials
Acids, caustics, pesticides, chemicals
Medical/radioactive waste
Liquids or liquid waste
Drums or tanks (unless clean and cut in half)
Animal carcasses
Large stumps
Wood/logs greater than 8” in diameter and 6” in length
Most large items that cannot be lifted manually
