Phalaenopsis Orchids and Beyond - Horticultural Society of Maryland Lecture

The Horticultural Society of Maryland invites you to attend  Phalaenopsis 
Orchids and Beyond, a lecture presented by Clark Riley.  An active orchid grower since 1957, Mr. Riley will discuss the care and cultivation of Phalaenopsis Orchids, which have become so popular in recent years that they are commonly sold in grocery and hardware stores, as well as other orchids that thrive under similar conditions.  In addition being a well-known orchid grower, Mr. Riley is a Member of the Maryland Orchid Society, the American Orchid Society, the International Phalaenopsis Alliance as well as a frequent contributor to the Orchid List Digest. He is also the producer of a book and CD entitledProceedings of the North American Native Terrestrial Orchid Conference.  
Admission to the  Spring Lecture Series is free for members of the Horticultural Society of Maryland as well as their guests when they show a current membership card.  Admission for the general public is $10 and can be purchased at the door.  The Vollmer Center at Cylburn Arboretum is located at 4915 Greenspring Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland 21209.  For more information about the series, call 410-821-5561, email programs@mdhorticulture.org
