Volunteers Spearheaded Creation of Gravel Hike & Bike Trail

What:

Baltimore County Executive Kevin Kamenetz and Councilman Tom Quirk will help celebrate a new hike & bike trail in Catonsville with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The Short Line Trail was developed by the Catonsville Rails to Trails group with support and funding from Baltimore County and the State Highway Administration. The group successfully raised funds for the project from Bikeways grants, donations and events.

This one mile trail stretches from the Baltimore Beltway at Shady Nook Ave to the rear section of Charlestown Retirement Community.
