German Native To Start Serving Traditional German Dinners at Duesenberg's

Meals will be served starting this Friday.

Christa Seiler has always wanted to have her own restaurant to cook some of the traditional German recipes she loves so much.

Starting this Friday, she'll get the next best thing, as Duesenberg's will open its doors and kitchen for her to serve dinner.

The German menu will be available from 5-10 p.m. from Wednesday through Sunday.

Seiler said this has been a dream for her whole life and she is looking forward to cooking for those who come. Seiler moved from Germany to Catonsville three years ago.

Gary Teegardin, the owner of Duesenberg's, said that he knew Seiler from her delicious pastries and cakes. When she approached him about using the restaurant space on Mellor Avenue, he decided to give it a try.

"Hopefully it will work and we'll go from there," he said.
