Comment: ‘How Do We Know We Can Trust Them?’

Baltimore County readers comment on the news of the week.

Baltimore County readers took their opinions to Patch sites this week, commenting most on , the Owings Mills Mall revamp and a fatal three-car crash in Randallstown. Here is a selection of some of our most noteworthy comments.

“The parking problems are probably all caused by the traffic circle at Old Frederick and Edmondson...just like everything else that is wrong in Cville....” -

“These events have been very unnerving. In the past six months, there seems to be more and more suspicious people walking through the neighborhood and unfamiliar cars parked in front of my house. While we have been documenting this information and reporting the porch chair getting stolen off our porch, what will these people be capable of later? I've lived in my residence for 17 years and never been overly concerned about robberies, but now I have been considering upgrading my locks or installing a security system.” -

Almond: Owings Mills Projects Can Work in Concert "Judging by the other Patch article regarding the unveiling of design plans for the mall redevelopment, hoping all three developers will work together might be some serious wishful thinking." -

Kimco Unveils Owings Mills Mall Revamp "Where was Kimco these last ten years when the Owings Mills Mall was declining? They want to be spoilers, not cooperative community members. How do we know we can trust them to develop the site if their objections to other sites were met? --

(Updated) Three-Car Crash Kills Two in Randallstown "This stretch of road has become increasingly dangerous. There is a lot of speeding and a lot of reckless lane changes up near the Lyons Mill intersection. With all the development happening along Painters Mill and Lyons Mill, it is likely to get worse. It would be nice to see some traffic calming or heightened patrolling in this area."

Second Save-A-Lot Job Event This Week "Glad something useful is going in, hopefully the community will support it."
