Andrew M. Roud, Vice President, Land Use for St. John Properties, Inc., Assumes Additional Responsibilities

Andrew M. Roud, Vice President, Land Use for St. John Properties, Inc., has assumed additional responsibilities for the full-service commercial real estate development and management company headquartered in Baltimore. Mr. Roud, who has worked with the company since 2009, will now oversee all state and local political and legislative relations and activities.

 

                          As Vice President, Land Use, Mr. Roud is involved with the analysis and entitlement of existing and potential properties and mixed-use developments for the company that owns and manages more than 17 million square feet of R&D/flex, office, retail and warehouse space throughout eight states. He has more than 27 years of commercial and retail real estate experience and is a member of NAIOP Maryland and the Urban Land Institute.

                          “Andrew brings an impressive background in political and legislative relations to this position, as well as a critical understanding of the importance of developing and maintaining strong lines of communication with our elected leaders,” said Lawrence F.                           Mr. Roud earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Urban Development/Geography from the University of Western Ontario in London, Canada. He is a graduate from Leadership Maryland, Class of 2012, and has a board seat on both the Economic Alliance of Greater Baltimore and the Prince George’s County Economic Development Corporation. The Washington, DC resident teaches a Graduate Level course at the University of Maryland’s Colvin Institute of Real Estate Development.
