UMBC Graduate Duff Goldman Made Inaugural Cakes

Duff Goldman, who graduated from UMBC in 1997, made the official cake for President Obama's inaugrual ball this week.

UMBC alum Duff Goldman had his own hand in President Obama's second inauguration, as his Charm City Cakes was set to bake the official cake for the event.

According to a Baltimore Sun report, Goldman's bakery was set to come up with a six-tier cake, every layer in place to represent one branch of the United States military.

Flavors of the tiers were to include red velvet, lemon poppy seed, pineapple coconut and pumpkin chococate chip. In addition, there were to be layers of Swiss butter cream.
