Saint Agnes To Move Heart Screenings to Hospital

The 60-minute women's screenings had been performed in Columbia.

If home is where the heart is, Saint Agnes Hospital is announcing plans to bring heart screenings closer to home.

Next Monday, the hospital will move its 60-minute heart check screenings from a Columbia office to the Women's Heart Center on its Catonsville campus.

In a press release, hospital officials said the new location is due to "an increase in volume of appointments" for the screenings. The 60-minute screening, which the release said is the only one of its kind in the state, costs $60 and includes an assessment and consultation on risk factors.
