Catonsville Farmers Market Report: Cherries Coming this Week

A roundup of what farms will have on the Wednesday and Sunday markets

There are two Catonsville farmers markets in Catonsville every week.

The is at the Bloomsbury Communtiy Center, located at 106 Bloomsbury Avenue from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesdays. This week, organizer Cindy Yingling said that vendors will have sweet cherries, baby summer squash, cucumbers, beets and sugar peas  along with greens, lettuce, onions and broccoli.

The is Sunday morning from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the parking lot behind Friendly's on Frederick Road. There are seven farms and several food vendors who are at this market. This week, Melissa Allen with Beechwood Orchards said this may be the last week for strawberries and will possibly have the first of the blueberries as well as cherries and raspberries.
