Catonsville Chamber of Commerce Hosts Holiday Party

Annual event was held Wednesday afternoon at Overhills Mansion

The closed out 2011 with the annual holiday party Wednesday afternoon. This marks the end of the first year with as president.

The chamber also elected new members for the board of directors in 2012, which include:

  • Sally Griffin, president
  • Ellen Hemmerly, vice president
  • Brian Wolfe, treasurer
  • Beverly Wright, secretary

In her letter in the annual report, Griffin said that the goal of the chamber this year was to continue to be a support to the momentum of development in Catonsville.

"There were many of you who had a vision for your businesses and/or buildings and moved forward on your own. Revitilzation is alive and well in this town," Griffin wrote.

The first event in 2011 will be the chamber's kick off meeting January 11 that will be talk on "secret weapons" for small businesses.
