Weekend Activities in Catonsville: Tree Planting, Theatre and Mount de Sales Open House

1. by Patapsco Heritage Greenway on Saturday, Nov. 5 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Patapsco Horse Farm in Catonsville. Join the Patapsco Heritage Greenway for one of the most popular events of the year - planting trees!  The organization will plant 70 new trees and 10 bushes to provide a riparian buffer along a section of Thistle Run, a small stream in Catonsville off of Route 144 on Frederick

2. on Sunday, Nov. 6 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. The open house is for middle school students and their families to visit the campus.

3. by on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 7 p.m. Tickets are $12 at the door.

4. at on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. The dinner is sponsored by the 40 West Lions Club.

5. on Saturday at 6:15 p.m. at the Westchester Community Center in Oella. Bill Staines has 26 recordings to his credit and has written over 300 songs. Songs like “All God’s Critters,”  “The Roseville Fair,”  “Child of Mine,” and “River,” have become folk music classics. Michael's House, www.michaelshouse.org, based in Burtonsville, is a 501(c)(3) charity serving the destitute elderly in the Third World who have no one.
