The Klassix was scheduled to perform to benefit the Maryland Council for Special Equestrians.

Frederick Road Fridays—Catonsville Chamber of Commerce's free, summer concert series—is canceled tonight due to inclement weather.

"Unfortunately, the weather report still looks very threatening with more storms coming through this evening so to be safe we are cancelling Frederick Road Fridays for tonight, July 12," CCC posted on Facebook.

The Klassix band was scheduled to perform to benefit the Maryland Council for Special Equestrians. August 9 will the rain date for its partnering non-profits.

Concerts are free of charge and held in the Mews, off Frederick Road on Mellor Avenue, in the parking lot directly in front of the Peace A Pizza restaurant, according to a news release from the chamber.

This is a new location for the concerts, it states. Beer and wine are served, and a different, local band performs each week from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

The Players Band is scheduled to perform next Friday to benefit Catonsville's Fourth of July Committee and parade award winners.
