The Maryland Science Center’s adult beverage series returns on Thursday, May 31 with Mixology 101–The ABC's: Alcohol, Bacon, Cocktails, featuring Bad Decisions owner and current “Iron Bartender” of Baltimore, John Reusing.

John will guide guests through an overview of basic Mixology, detailing the flavor fundamentals of mixed drinks before delving into savory cocktails that use bacon’s finest ingredients – smoke, salt and fat.

John will demonstrate how to craft the perfect cocktail before visitors try their hand at mixing their own. The evening will include plenty of time for sampling.

John Reusing’s drinks have been featured on HDNet’s “Drinking Made Easy,” and his bacon nights at Bad Decisions have been featured on the Travel Channel’s “Bacon Paradise.”

Tickets include light fare, drinks and Mixology presentation. Doors open at 7:00 pm and the presentation will run from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., leaving time to mingle before and after. These events are very popular and sell out fast. Call 410-545-5980 to reserve seats.

Mixology 101–The ABC's: Alcohol, Bacon, Cocktails is for ages 21 and over only.
