Charlestown Fireside Art Committee Presents…"Matters of the Heart: The 6th Fireside Dining Exhibition"
CATONSVILLE, MD—The Fireside Art Committee, a resident-group at the Catonsville-based retirement community, will be hosting its 6th Fireside Dining Room Exhibition opening reception on Sunday, January 8th. The theme of the first show of 2012 is “Matters of the Heart,” referring to the fact that the artist pulls from the heart or soul ideas which evolve into a work of art.
Nineteen artists will be displaying their original oil, watercolor, acrylic and mixed media work in the Fireside Restaurant of Charlestown. Each artist will feature one piece, some of which are for sale.
Music will be performed by Charlestown resident Nancy Wehr, and light refreshments will be served. The event is free and open to the public.
