Charlestown Artists Present...4th Fireside Dining Exhibition featuring Bill Stromberg
CATONSVILLE, MD—The Charlestown Artists, a resident-group at the Catonsville-based retirement community, will be hosting its 4th Fireside Dining Room Exhibition opening reception on Sunday, July 10th.
This exhibit will exclusively feature the work of Charlestown resident Bill Stromberg, whose display of thirteen paintings will be a mixture of watercolors and oils.
Mr. Stromberg served his nation in the U.S. Army during World War II and attended the Maryland Institute of Art under the G.I. Bill. While working as a computer programmer analyst and raising a family with his wife Kathryn, art always played an important role in his life.

He paints weekly at Charlestown’s Art Studio, and when asked by others if it’s ever too late to take up art as a hobby, Mr. Stromberg enthusiastically replies “don’t think about it. Do it!”
Music will be performed by Charlestown resident and pianist Charlotte Langbehn, and light refreshments will be served.
