Catonsville Elementary School is pleased to be hosting our second environmental festival on Saturday, September 29th from 11-3. This family outdoor community event will bring together local businesses, organizations, local and state agencies and families to learn about and promote environmental awareness. The festival provides an opportunity for your family to learn about being green. Some of the activities and displays will be, solar panels, baby terrapin turtle display, papermaking, recycled fabric crafts, creating solar jewelry, making a wooden car, relay races, a nature scavenger hunt and much more. There will also be healthy sandwiches, desserts, and farmer’s market produce for sale. Please join us for this exciting event to support Catonsville becoming a Maryland Green School.
