On Saturday, students from across Maryland competed in the Maryland FIRST Lego League Championship at RAC Arena at UMBC. Patch photographer Noah Scialom captured the drama that unfolds around lego robotics competitions.

On Wednesday, schools in Catonsville celebrated Read Across America Day. Patch photographer Robin Shotola was at Catonsville Elementary School, where Board of Education member Michael Bowler read to students. Wednesday was also Crazy Hat Day at the school.
