Patch Picks: Plan Your Super Bowl Weekend

Planning to go out and watch the Super Bowl? Or are you the lucky one hosting all of your friends and family? We've got a list of things that will help you organize your Super Bowl Sunday.

1. To bring to the party: Crabby dip from Grilled Cheese & Co. This dip comes in a bread bowl and is sure to be a crowd pleaser. To have it for Super Bowl Sunday, you must order by 3 p.m. Saturday. The dip is $26.45.

2. A pizza deal: If you haven't tried Peace A Pizza in Catonsville yet, Sunday may be the perfect day to start. The specialty pizza shop is doing a Super Bowl deal: buy any two large pizzas for $19.99. The deal is only available for carry-out customers.

3. Where to watch the game: will have a buffet-style set up for a fixed rate. Call ahead for reservations though.

4. Where not to watch the game: Both and will be closed on Sunday. Don't try to go to either of those places.

5. A deal that has nothing to do with the football: Stock up on yarn. There's still plenty of winter left, and is having a sale Sunday afternoon from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Stop in and draw your discount out of a bowl, with discounts ranging from 15 percent to 40 percent.
