Invitation to KALEIDOSCOPE! Arts Camp Community Show

KALEIDOSCOPE! Arts Camp invites the community of Catonsville to attend a community show that will showcase their first session of ART-a-TUDE: Using the Arts to Motivate the Good Impulses of People to be held behind 7-Eleven at the Street Car Waiting Station.  The show takes place on July 8 at 7:30 PM.

The show is the culmination of their time spent using the arts to motivate others to be kind, fair and respectful. They have  spent 2 weeks performing for and doing art with assisted living residents, preparing lunches and creating art for the homeless, making quilts for Project Linus, serving free lemonade and doing free face painting, building bird house replicas of Catonsville businesses, batiking messages of inspiration and learning songs and dances to entertain and make you smile.

The show will be a participatory performance of the songs and dances learned throughout camp. The audience is then invited to travel along the #8 Street Car Trail for the unveiling of the restoration of the Street Car Mural done by high school participants and volunteers.  We hope that you will join us to showcase and acknowledge all of the hard work, creativity and community involvement of this group of young people.
