"I drive Rolling Road several times daily, and I have no concern with the speed camera because I control my speed. Hard to fathom those who rant about speed cameras being a money grab when all you have to do is keep a reasonable speed in the school zone and your money stays in your wallet. They say the county only cares about money, not kids, but what do these folks care about if they're willing to flout the speed limit with the road full of school children?" -David Hutton on

"Good argument, and yes safety is first but fingers are pointed to the drivers and we forget about the first thing we learned when we were little , look before you cross the street . I know that we must and should respect the speed limit posted but I also must say if were taking all these measures, we should also educate the pedestrians and have them be accountable for crossing where they shouldnt or for ruining past a on coming car. What every happened to being ticketed for ”j walking” every one should be hold accountable for their actions. Speeders if you speed take your consequences , and Walkers be responsible and have precautions. Just my opinion." -Observer on

"October, 2012 marks the 50th anniversary of my marriage to my wife, Rosalie. We tied the knot at St. Mark and our flowers were beautifully arranged by The Hilton Flower Shop. Over the years since, we would never think of sending flowers to friends and family from any other establishment.

It pains me to see the condition of the shop today, as Catonsville is being revitalized and so many of the buildings on Frederick Road are being spruced up. I hope that, someday soon, we will see a fresh facade and interior for Hilton, and a new beginning." -Ron Wise on
