Paradise Community Association to Sponsor Art Auction

The Paradise Community Association is sponsoring its initial artist series featuring the work of Paradise resident Mr. Jon Boone. The show, auction and reception will be held on March 22  at the Catonsville Historical Society from 1:30 to 4:00 PM. Jon will hang around 20 original paintings to showcase the range of his work and offer for sale cards and print reproductions of selected work. All profits will go to the Paradise Community Association. In addition, Jon will donate a pen and ink drawing, Winter Birch that can be auctioned to the highest bidder (with a reserve). Finally, he will donate one print to the winner of a drawing held during the event, allowing the winner to choose among the prints available. As part of the event's activities, Jon will also give a 15-20 minute talk about his art and its influences. Jon will also agree to talk with media representatives in order to promote the event, providing them with appropriate support material if requested.
