Holiday Model Railroad Display Now Open at Charlestown

A vintage, nine-train line model railroad display is now open to the public for the holidays at Charlestown retirement community in Catonsville, MD.

The display ( http://youtu.be/zA_Lk3mztCk ) features HO and N-scale trains donated by Charlestown residents.

Buildings depict local landmarks such as Main Street Catonsville and Bethlehem Steel.

A Treasure Hunt asks children to identify hidden items such as a Baltimore Ravens rail car and a hobo camp.

The display is open Saturdays, from noon-2 p.m. It will be also be open on Christmas Day from 1- 4 p.m.

Charlestown is located at 719 Maiden Choice Lane in Catonsville.
