Help Homeless Pets! Register Now for the Maryland SPCA's March for the Animals
Animal lovers and their four-legged friends are invited to participate in the Maryland SPCA's March for the Animals, 1.5 mile walk-a-thon and festival on Sunday, April 27 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. to help raise funds needed to provide care, shelter, food, spay/neuter procedures and medication for the homeless pets at the MD SPCA’s adoption center.
The day will showcase adoptable dogs from the MD SPCA and other local shelters and rescue groups, a demonstration by Mid-Atlantic Disc Dogs, pet training tips, low-cost micro-chipping, a “flea-less” market of pet friendly vendors, musical chairs for dogs, a pet costume contest judged by celebrity guests, great food and more!

The MD SPCA finds homes for 3,000 needy and homeless pets each year. There is never a time limit to how long a pet can remain in their adoption program. The organization does not receive any operating support from the government, ASPCA or any other animal welfare organizations, but relies on community support to help animals.
