Catonsville Historical Society Open House THIS WEEKEND!

Don't miss the Catonsville Historical Society's annual Christmas Open House this week, themed "The Birds' Christmas Carol." The event, free and open to the public, will be held on Saturday, December 7 (1 to 5 p.m.) and Sunday, December 8 (1 to 4 p.m.).

Both days, enjoy the historic train garden and dollhouse. Tour the Townsend House, decorated by community groups. Meet Brad Sweet, birdhouse artist. Shop for white elephants, costume jewelry, and live greens. Enjoy free refreshments. Meet your neighbors!

Highlighting the weekend program is a talk on Saturday at 3 p.m. Jon Boone, a local artist and historian, will present "A Bird's Eye View," which will be followed by a wine reception (and holiday favorites on the Victrola).
