Featuring Performing and Visual Arts Programs for rising 6th, 7th, and 8th graders! All are welcome!
With faculty participation from Mount de Sales Academy, Mount St. Joseph High School, Loyola High School and St. Agnes School, the St. Agnes Summer Arts Camp features two aspects of Art Education.
The Performing Arts Workshop exposes students to all aspects of theatrical and performing arts, from audition to final performance. Students will learn the basics of the audition, including the dramatic monologue and the musical audition. Stage presence, movement, and vocal projection will be featured. Students will leave the program with a drama resume and headshot.
The Visual Arts Workshop is designed to giveart students exposure to high school art programs featuring graphic design, drawing and painting. The program will guide students through work with a variety of media to determine each student's strengths and help each student develop a portfolio. With an opportunity to meet and work with high school faculty, students will explore options in the arts available to them in high school and beyond.
