Storytelling, music, and good old fashion fun will take place at the Bannekey House on the spacious grounds of Benjamin Banneker Historical Park and Museum. As we reach the 147th year we continue to celebrate Juneteenth, the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the ending of slavery in the United States. Celebrate with the Griots’ Circle of Maryland and the Friends of Benjamin Banneker Park and Museum.

More About Friends of Benjamin Banneker Historical Park
This facility is a Baltimore County park dedicated to the first African American man of science, Benjamin Banneker. The park includes a museum, gift shop, park with picnic tables, patio garden, visitor's center, and more. The park is 138 acres with lots of trails to keep visitors busy for hours.
