DESCRIPTION:Put on your game face\, you are about to enter today&rsquo\;s
  brave new worlds. The Gallery at CCBC Catonsville (Q Building\, 800 S. 
 Rolling Road) has mounted an eclectic exhibit entitled &ldquo\;Imagined 
 Realities&rdquo\; showcasing the created universes of nationally known i
 llustrators and concept designers. The exhibit allows you to explore the
  realms of fantasy and science fiction found in books\, online and in vi
 deo games as you travel through time to worlds that exist only in an art
 ist&rsquo\;s imagination and explore civilizations that may never exist 
 in reality.\nCurated by&nbsp\;Nicole Buckingham\, Art Gallery Coordinato
 r\, and&nbsp\;Erik Miller\, professor of Art\, the exhibit features the 
 works of national illustrators and video game artists:&nbsp\;\n&nbsp\;\n
 Piero MacGowan (http://projectexodus.org)According to his blog\, Piero M
 acGowan is a Mexican-born Illustrator\, Fine Artist and College Professo
 r based in Baltimore\, USA. He works full-time as a Senior Concept Artis
 t at Firaxis Games\, located in Hunt Valley\, Maryland\, where he has co
 ntributed to titles such as XCOM: Enemy Unknown and Sid Meier's Civiliza
 tion series. He obtained his B.F.A. in Illustration with Honors from the
  Maryland Institute College of Art. He has since become a professor in t
 he Illustration department\, and enjoys creating his personal work at ho
 me\, where he uses both digital and traditional tools to make his art.\n

 ently\, I work at Harmonix as a Senior Concept Artist working on a super

 is work on Christopher Paolini&rsquo\;s &ldquo\;Eragon&rdquo\; series of

 .com/)\n&ldquo\;Jen Zee is currently the Art Director at Supergiant Game
 s\,&rdquo\; states blog GiantBomb\, &ldquo\;She previously did concept a
 rt and flash programming for Gaia Interactive\, and freelanced for Fanta
 sy Flight Games&hellip\; Zee is responsible for the lush hand-painted 2D
  artwork that defines the distinctive look of Bastion's game world and d
 enizens.&rdquo\;\n&nbsp\;\nThere will be a special artist panel discussi
 on&nbsp\;featuring John Jude Palencar and Piero MacGowan in person and S
 ean Andrew Murray via Skype. This will be held in the Q Building Theater
  on Friday\, October 19th from 6:00-7:30pm.\n&nbsp\;\nThe Reception is o
 n Friday\, October 19th in the gallery at Q Building from 7:30-9:00 pm.\
 n&nbsp\;\n&nbsp\;\nGallery Hours: Monday-Thursday\, 10 am to 8 pm. Frida
 y and&nbsp\;Saturday\, 10 am to 5 pm. The Gallery is closed on Sunday.
