Hillcrest Elementary will be having a Pumpkin Run from 9:00am until 3:00pm on Friday October 26, 2012. Students in each grade level will run during their special area time. Hillcrest is a member of the Alliance for a Healthier Generation and the Healthy Schools Program. The students have been preparing for the 'run' since the beginning of the year. Each day, weather permitting, each student practices for the "run" before their recess period. Fourth and fifth graders are working toward a 1 mile run, third graders 3/4 of a mile, second and first graders 1/2 mile.

More About Hillcrest Elementary School
Hillcrest Elementary School enrols students from kindergarten through fifth grade. Its most recent addition features eight technology-integrated classrooms in addition to a new conference room and computer lab. The school has an active PTA.
